Splash at 6 months after winning Winners Female
Splash winning one of her many Best Puppy in Groups
Splash finished her championship with her fourth Best of Breed and a Group Fourth and Best Puppy in Group. Her first show as a Special, she took Best of Breed, over specials at the ripe old age of seven months. To say that showing Splash was fun is putting it mildly. She didn't ask for the wins, she demanded them, walking up to the judges and looking them squarely in the eye. She loved being the centre of attention! She also had limitless energy. She would be in the ring several times, then she and Samantha would enter the Juniors ring, usually winning the class so they would have to go in the ring again. She never lost focus and seemed a natural.
Now embarking on a career in agility, she has proven to be a natural talent who quickly learns new things. Splash has also started doing some sheep herding, courtesy of Sue Jewell and Have You Herd? It was amazing to watch this little dog bring a flock of 15 sheep right to me! I was so amazed I forgot to move. That was her first time. She went silently out and around the sheep without any fear or hesitation. This is truly a multi-talented little girl. We can't wait to see what she does in the whelping box!
