Memories

Stroll down memory lane with us. We hope you enjoy viewing pictures of some of the dogs we have cherished over the years.
Ch. Hoodwink Nearly Neon HIC, our beloved Bobby. The sweetest dog I've ever known and always with a smile on his face.

Ch. Hoodwink  Soliloquay (on the left) and Ch. Hoodwink Acappela. Murphy (left) and Shasta were Bobby's littermates and shared the same wonderful temperaments.  Mom to these three was BPIG Hoodwink Tempest .

BPIG Hoodwink Tempest (10 points) . Mandy's show career was cut short when she had to be spayed after a
C-section. Nevertheless, her contribution to my breeding program ensured future generations of quality dogs with sound temperaments. She is behind most of our champions and performance stars.

Ch. Hoodwink Dury Voe Razzmatazz, Jazz. At just over 13" our little Jazz was a spitfire. She was a joy to live with and had one of the soundest temperaments I've ever seen. Her daughter Lacey (Ch. Hoodwink AfterglowHCT) is still with us and four generations after her. She not only stamped her look on her daughter but her granddaughter, great granddaughter and on and on. We still miss her.

BPIG Ch. Hoodwink Afterglow HCT, Lacey. Jazz's daughter Lacey, finished her championship at 7 months of age. At her first show, she won Best of Breed over Specials, including her Best In Show winning father. She reigns over the household today at age 18 and still herds sheep occasionally. She never met a person she didn't like and just loves children. She is the dam of Ch. Blueprint Francesca, owned by Hoodwink.

Stowold Bi Hook Or Bi Crook (on left) was sired by our Bobby and was a puppy back. She did amazingly well in the conformation ring, earning 8 points quickly. Unfortunately, Jordan  had low thyroid so was spayed. Jordan left us for the Rainbow Bridge just a few days shy of her 13th birthday.
On the right is Ch. Hoodwink Follow Suit CD, Kenzie. Kenzie flew to her championship in short order and is the dam of Brodie. She is currently gracing the couch in her forever home.

BPIG and Multi Group Winner Ch. Hoodwink Blue My Mind.  "Storm" was sold to Lorette Snowden as a show potential puppy and more than fulfilled our hopes. At 7 months of age, Storm was Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best of Opposite Sex and Best Puppy at a large Specialty in Edmonton Alberta. He then went on the same weekend to finish his championship.  Storm is a Shasta son sired by Am. Ch. Dundee Amos Moses.

Our Bobby at 9 1/2 years old herding sheep. As the border collie people told me - he was "good" to his sheep. Bobby's herding talent was discovered very late (9 years of age). His son was very talented in this venue and became the first sheltie to gain his CKC Herding Championship. We decided to try Bobby on the sheep and were surprised with his ability.  I loved to just watch him while good friend Sue Jewell of "Have Ewe Herd" sheep dog training taught him the ropes.  Rest well sweet boy.
